Michael (Parker Ambrose) gives his lovely stepsister Gina (Rissa May) a ride home and notices that her engagement ring isn’t on her finger. She lies and says it’s being resized -she’s lost some weight.
He chides her about it, but eventually agrees not to tell their parents about her romantic troubles. When they get home he goads her into telling him what’s really going on. “I broke up with Kyle”, she admits, referring to a banker she’s been dating who is more than twice her age. He keeps prodding her for info and Gina admits she feels like a failure, unable to sustain even her engagement.
Michael can’t stop laughing at her predicament, causing Gina to declare: “You think it’s funny that I’m miserable”. He just never liked Kyle -he’s not laughing at her. He makes fun of the “old guy” not being able to get it up. “Me and Kyle had an arrangement. I would marry him, and he would have to wait until we were married to, you know…”, she explains. “Wait. You’re saying you never fucked him?”, Michael asks, incredulous. “We cuddle, okay? No sex, just cuddling”, Gina insists.
